Thank you for joining us @SWSCmedia for our debate on Global Agenda for Social Work and Social Development #GASWSD.
Our online debate was accompanied by discussions at London Metropolitan University and following the parliamentary reception and the official presentation of the Global Agenda for Social Work and Social Development at Portcullis house to Ministers and Members of Parliament.
Unfortunately, in spite of our efforts, we had difficulties in capturing all the relevant tweets (this was particularly difficult due to the use of two hashtags #SWSCmedia and #GASWSD resulting in dispersion of tweets, compounded by some software limitations). Therefore, below are the tweets that we were able to gather.
Nonetheless, it is important that the discussion on Global Agenda for Social Work and Social Development has now been launched and we invite you continue the use of hashtag #GASWSD and to sustained a continued conversation and shared reflections of views, suggestions, and experiences in relation to the Global Agenda for Social Work.
Furthermore, in order to celebrate Social Work Week, there is a change of programme for this coming Tuesday (27-March 2012) as we will hold a special Twitter Party with Quiz and a couple of prizes courtesy of Jessica Kingsley Publishers (our Academic and Research Publishing Partners).
Thank you once again for taking part in our debate, below is the summary of the debate and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday (27-March-2012) at 8:00 PM BST / 3:00 PM EDT.
